They impersonated their own employees, their own suppliers, and fabricated a work trip — and when caught in a specific lie about Las Vegas, flew to Las Vegas to photograph Christmas trees as retroactive December evidence, which is the approach of men who remained confident at every step that the next layer of fraud would resolve the previous one.
